On weekdays the key is held at the accommodation office from 2pm until 4.30pm. 

If you expect to arrive after the office closes or on a weekend/bank holiday the key is left with switchboard staff in The Hub (sometimes better known as the HSDU building), which is behind the main hospital buildings.

All single accommodation and the two-bedroom self-contained apartments are on St Mary’s Hospital site.  Family properties are within one mile of the hospital. A map is included in your key pack.

Check-in time is 2pm (including weekends and bank holidays).  If you get in touch with us it’s sometimes possible to check in earlier but, because we’re usually very full, if you need to guarantee it you should book another night.

Yes. Parking is managed by Apcoa on behalf of the Trust.  To apply for a permit before your arrival visit https://iownhsstaffpermits.apcoa.co.uk/

This depends on the accommodation provided. You can check our price list above. 

All single accommodation is inclusive of council tax, water, electricity, gas (where applicable), laundry facilities and wifi. There’s no council tax discount for students as you’ll be sharing accommodation with non-students

All on-site accommodation is connected to wifi by WightFibre.  Charges for this have been included in your payment.

Your payment details are sent in a confirmation of booking email. Payment is due in advance of your stay and your key can only be made available once your first payment is received. 

Your initial payment can be made by debit or credit card by phoning the accommodation office on 01983 534561.  If you’re paying from abroad, please ask us for our IBAN details.

As long as we have clear evidence your agency are paying for your stay, we’ll invoice them directly.

All accommodation includes bedding, bed linen and towels. The kitchens are equipped with a fridge freezer, cooker, microwave, kettle, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, crockery, cutlery and basic cooking utensils.  Any other items need to be brought with you. 

We also have an on-site laundry which is free to use.

Yes, all mail is delivered to the accommodation office.  

Letters are delivered to communal mail boxes in each building on the next working day after receipt in the accommodation office.  The key to your mailbox will be issued on request.  

Parcels will be kept securely in the accommodation office and you’ll be advised by text message.
