The SNG #iwill Fund Programmes are investing £1.5 million in creating opportunities for youth social action and a platform for youth voice.
The SNG #iwill Fund Programmes are comprised of 3 strands of funding, investing over £1.5million in giving young people a voice in their communities and futures.
It's made possible thanks to a £66 million joint investment from The National Lottery Community Fund and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) to support young people to access high-quality social action opportunities.
What the SNG #iwill Fund has achieved so far:
- 2,241 engagements from young people who have directly taken part in youth social action projects.
- 21,197 hours spent by young people taking part in youth social action projects.
- £8,794,265.00 social value generated
- 285 young people said they felt significantly more confident as a result of taking part in a youth social action project led by one of our grantees.
- 224 young people said they significantly like living in their community more after taking part in youth social action.
- 242 young people felt they have made a positive difference in the local community as a result of their youth social action projects.
- 299 young people said they had learnt new skills and 535 training outcomes and accreditations were achieved.
- 96% of young people said they would carry on with youth social action after the project ended.
SNG is acting as an #iwill Fund match funder and awarding grants on behalf of the #iwill Fund through the SNG #iwill Fund.

The SNG #iwill Fund 2.0 - Wellbeing Champions Programme is a three-year project (October 2023 - December 2026) investing £1 million with a focus on mental health and wellbeing for young people.

The SNG #iwill Fund 1.0 (formerly Sovereign #iwill Fund) was a two-year project (April 2022 - April 2024) investing £450k in giving young people a voice in their housing and community future.
#iwill Intergenerational Social Action Programme
We've teamed up with Clarion Futures, the charitable foundation of Clarion Housing Group, and Places for People to launch the ISA programme, investing £100k in connecting older and younger residents.
