Walk and Talk Buggy walks!
Local residents are invited to join a series of monthly guided buggy walks across the Isle of Wight.
The buggy walks are being organised by Sovereign, Vectis Housing and Southern Housing Group to encourage local families to take some fresh air and gentle exercise over a conversational trip to the park.
The walks start at 10am and will finish at 12 noon and will begin at the venues and dates below:
- Sandown - Fort Street car park, PO36 8BA
1st Friday* of the month, starting 6 May 2022
- Ryde - Puckpool Park, PO34 5AR
2nd Friday* of the month, starting 13 May 2022
- Newport - Riverside Centre, PO30 2QR
3rd Friday* of the month, starting 20 May 2022
- East Cowes - The Pavilion, PO32 6HN
4th Friday* of the month, starting 27 May 2022
Toby Eaglen, Community Development Officer, Sovereign said: “We’re keen to promote happy and healthy communities and what better way to do this than bring families together for a summer stroll in the park.”
