Sovereign makes cycles safe with Dr Bike
Housing association Sovereign has teamed up with the Bristol Bike Project and The Ape Project to make sure that mini-cyclists and their families in Lynwood Park, Bristol will be winter-ready.
During half term – on Monday 28 October to Wednesday 31 October – a series of activities will run with ‘Dr Bike’, designed to make sure that every bicycle is ready for the wet and dark nights of winter, with tire and light checks on offer.
Jessica Dewhurst, Community Development Officer for Sovereign, said:
“We know that the children on Lynwood Park love to get out and about on their bikes, so we’ll be making sure that they all have lights on their cycles, as well as working brakes and healthy tires. Most importantly, we’ll also be helping them create the coolest rides around, with our ‘pimp my ride’ workshop.”
The housing association will also have people from their property maintenance and housing teams available to answer questions about Sovereign homes in the area.
