Our shortlisted HQN 'Frontline Stars'
As a centrepiece of its annual conference in July, HQN has launched the 'Frontline Stars Award' to recognise key workers and members of the housing community who have gone the extra mile during the COVID-19 crisis, making a tangible difference to the lives of others.
It’s fantastic news to see that out of almost 300 nominations we made the shortlist, not once but twice, recognising the excellent work our people are doing every day, but with doubled down effort during the lockdown!
Well done to Laurinda Hornblow, nominated in the 'Individual Employee' category for her work leading a team that supported more than 2,700 residents with complex queries over the crisis period.
In the 'Teams' category, our Key Worker Housing Team, led by Dominic Gregory and Tony Quigley is nominated. During Covid-19, they released students from contracts, sourced free bicycles for key workers and suspended car park charges among other supportive gestures.
Now they need help to show them that they truly are appreciated. Voting closes this Friday, 3 July, so please get clicking now!
