Customer satisfaction hike sees more grounds maintenance insourced

Sovereign Housing Association is today announcing that its grounds maintenance service has come in-house in Oxfordshire and Basingstoke.

With many housing associations choosing to in-source more services, Sovereign is no exception thanks to a successful roll out in Berkshire.

The 61,000-home housing association already carries out grounds maintenance in-house on the Isle of Wight. But with customer satisfaction having doubled following the insourcing of grounds maintenance in Berkshire, it is replicating this delivery model in others areas.

This change affects thousands of properties in the two areas. Starting earlier this month, Sovereign’s own property teams will now carry out the maintenance, instead of a contractor.

Jac Jenkins, Sovereign’s lead for this project said: “Our goal is to provide our customers with a quality service and put them at the heart of everything we do.

“Insourcing in these two regions following such positive feedback is proof that we’re delivering against these goals, and serious about improving the customer experience.”
