What you can do
- After you’ve talked to the police, please call us on 0300 5000 926 – you’ll need to let us know the name of the police officer you spoke to and your incident report number. We’ll work with you and the police on next steps.
- If you’d rather send us a written report, please fill in our ASB form – we'll aim to respond to you within two working days.

What is Hate crime?
A hate crime or incident is any behaviour which the victim or another person thinks is motivated by a prejudice or hate because of the victim’s difference (or perceived difference).

- As well as contacting the police, you can also find help and support from the National Stop Hate UK website and 24 hour helpline on 0800 138 1625.
- If you’ve spoken to the police, please call us with your incident report number and the name of the police officer you spoke to. We may need to use this to speak with the police and you on next steps.

One of our Housing Officers will be dedicated to your case and they’ll work sensitively around what’s happened.
