How we hold deposits

All deposits are held by us and registered with a government approved scheme. You should have received the details of your deposit, your prescribed information and your Deposit certificate at the beginning of your tenancy.

Legislation requires your landlord to protect your deposit within 30 days of receiving it. Your deposit is considered received from the moment they have the money (whether it’s a cheque, a bank transfer or cash), and not when the funds have cleared.

There is  a choice of two Tenancy Deposit Protection schemes; Custodial or Insured.
