Meet the members of the Scrutiny Coordination group (SCG)

The resident volunteers meet around six times a year to plan a rolling programme to scrutinise our services, then look at what the results show.

Alison Bridge

Alison Bridge

Alison joined the SCG in May 2019 because she wanted to give something back. She believes housing for communities is essential and something everyone needs but can’t always reach.

Denise Cox

Denise Cox

Denise wanted to see how Sovereign worked from a business-perspective and how she could help, so began volunteering in 2011, before joining the SCG in April 2017. She believes social housing is important for stability and is something that should be available to everyone.

Paula Grebot

Paula Grebot (Chair)

Paula joined the SCG in April 2017. She’d been private renting with her family and was grateful to get a Sovereign house for life, so she wanted to get involved in reviewing its services. She’s interested in module homes and eco design, so that the cost of building and running homes is kept to a minimum for residents.

Sheila Hayward

Sheila Hayward

Sheila, who works in local government, was a member of Spectrum Housing Group’s (now merged with Sovereign) Three Counties Forum before joining the SCG in April 2017. She wanted to give something back and believes if you want changes to be made, you have to invest personal time.

Danny Lynch

Danny Lynch

Danny joined the SCG in April 2017, after previously volunteering with Sovereign as a Digital Champion. He’s passionate about helping vulnerable residents and making sure their voices are heard.
