
The management and staff of Trafalgar Court aim to provide quality long-term and respite care for all residents who need 24 hour care because of frailty, illness or disability.
We will achieve high quality care by:
- Ensuring our staff are competent and well trained;
- Implementing assessment and admission procedures which will indicate the most suitable provision of care for each resident;
- Involving residents and their relatives or representatives in providing appropriate care planning;
- Helping residents get appropriate medical care and other public services;
- Seeking medical or other advice on any change in a resident’s condition, changing or enhancing their present care provision to promote personal well-being;
- Promoting social contacts with the community and providing meaningful activities for all our residents;
- Promoting professional practice by all our employees through regular meetings and appraisal systems; and
- Dealing with any complaint so that there is a satisfactory outcome.
