Description:
You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting the operational budgets, service expenditure, and all other commercial activity across the entire property services directorate, including the provision of early warning trend analysis and potential financial solutions to ensure that expenditure is contained within budget.
You will also be responsible for the ongoing development of the Sovereign Services trading account and financial business model, working extensively with managers to ensure that the operational efficiency is confirmed to deliver the anticipated and forecast profit and overhead levels.
With a degree level education or equivalent through relevant training/experience you will need to have relevant post qualification accountancy (or financial/analytical Quantity Surveyor) experience with some commercial/operational experience.
You will have strong knowledge of budgets and financial management, with experience of operational forecasting and financial projections.
An understanding of building, property or maintenance would be useful.
A current full driving Licence is required for this role as you will need to be able to travel throughout the operational areas.
