Modern Methods of Construction
The government wants better standards in the building industry as a way to reduce costs, improve reliability and quality, and allow more homes to be built. Looking at modern methods of construction is a key part of this and we have undertaken two successful modular-build projects in Kidlington and Exeter. Other developments are also underway and we are already exploring new areas. In our first project the homes were finished in 11 weeks instead of 26 weeks using traditional building methods.
